Returns Policy

Our returns policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right — we offer a 30-day return policy on all orders.

What can be returned?

You can return any item within 30 days of delivery, provided it is:

In its original condition — unused and undamaged
In the original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation included
Accompanied by your proof of purchase (order number or order confirmation email)

Items that cannot be returned include: consumable accessories that have been opened (such as cutting discs, drill bits, and sandpaper), items damaged through misuse or normal wear, and items purchased on final sale.

Please include your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide you with a return reference and instructions for sending the item back. Do not send items back without contacting us first — unreferenced returns cannot be processed.

Return shipping

If the item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or we sent the wrong item, we will cover the return shipping cost
If you are returning for any other reason (change of mind, wrong size ordered), return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 3 – 5 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take a further 1 – 3 business days to appear in your account.

Exchanges

If you’d prefer to exchange an item rather than receive a refund, let us know when you contact us. We will do our best to arrange a replacement, subject to availability.

Warranty claims

All tools sold at Build-X come with a manufacturer’s warranty. If your tool develops a fault after 30 days, please contact us and we will assist with a warranty claim through the manufacturer. Warranty periods vary by product — check the documentation supplied with your item or ask us before purchase.
