We started as Paint Mecca — a family-run hardware shop in Fochville. Small town, hard-working community, real people with real projects to finish. We learned early that the right tool changes everything.
In 2017, we became Build-X — with a bigger vision. We wanted to bring pro-grade tools to every tradesperson in South Africa, not just the ones who could drive to Fochville. So we built the online store, we partnered with INGCO, and we started shipping nationwide.
